You (or you and a partner) will travel through time to visit different eras of our planet! On your journey you will collect evidence of your travels in the different eras of the Geological Time Scale. You will complete Travel Tasks and keep a Travel Log. Once that is complete you will prepare a visual Travel Journal (Google Slides) that highlights each of the time periods that you chose to visit.
You (and your partner) will present your Travel Journal to the class on Monday, October 23rd, or Tuesday, October 24th. If, for some reason, you do not present your Travel Journal you will automatically be docked 15%. In order to present, you and your partner must have a copy of your Research pages and Travel Journal turned into this assignment.
For every day it is late, it will be a point off and after 5 school days I will not accept it and you will receive an automatic 0 out of 100.
How to complete your project:
choose a time period to visit
complete a research page about your chosen time period using the approved sites in the digital packet
share document with me - I will check it
come see me for your flag and travel task
complete travel task about designated time period
come see me for your traveling gnome
choose another time period and repeat previous steps till all required trips are completed
create a travel journal (Google Slides) that you will present to the class
KEEP YOUR TRAVEL MAP IN A SAFE LOCATION - this is what I will use to grade your presentation
