A Message to the Cast of "The Music Man"

Many of you may already be aware of the Riverside County school closures (now in effect until April, 30th). Unfortunately this means that our originally scheduled production dates for “The Music Man” are now cancelled. I am working closely with my wife (Cheri Kehler- Performing Arts Director at West Valley High School) in an attempt to figure out a postponed schedule for the show. At this point in time things have been changing so rapidly we have not been able to come up with a solution. With rehearsals cancelled as well, we need to find a way to both finish the show and then schedule performances. I will continue to carefully monitor the situation and post updates when possible.

We are currently entertaining the idea of pushing the production into the summer months. I realize this may change our cast entirely (vacations and other plans) but I would like to proceed with our production (even If very delayed) If at all possible in the future.

I will keep everyone posted on any progress made.

I miss you all and will see you soon!

A Message to Roaring Harmony

Hello Roaring Harmony!

As you all know by now, our time together as a group this year has been cut very short.  While I continue to hold out hope that we will all be gathering in the MPR again this school year to work on our “Tarzan” set, we are already having to face many competition and activity cancelations.  All three of our remaining competitions have been cancelled (Travis Ranch “Illusion”, “All American” competition, and now “Burrough’s Music Showcase”) and our Disneyland trip/performance is now very uncertain.  You have all worked so hard this year and have accomplished something no other Roaring Harmony group has- the “triple crown” (California Classic 2020)! Please know that I will do everything I can to schedule another performance for the group but we are at the mercy of our current situation and its duration.

I am trying to come up with some fun things for us to do as we continue on with the “distance learning” and I am sure I will have some quality activities for you all shortly.  Until then, please know my heart is with all of you and I am praying for the health of all of you and your families.

I am available If you need someone to talk to or help with anything.

I will continue to miss 7th period/Roaring Harmony like crazy!

Much love and see you soon!

Kehler
