Welcome to Kindergarten!
It is my sincere privilege to partner with you in your child's educational journey. Your child's first year of elementary school is so important for laying the proper foundation for academic success as well as inspiring students to enjoy the lifelong process of learning.
With respect to my background, I received my B.A. degree in Speech Communication from California State University, Fullerton, and my teaching credential and M.A. degree in Education from The Claremont Graduate University. I began teaching 1st and 2nd grades in the Pomona Unified School District in 1990, and spent 21 years teaching Kindergarten at Rancho Christian School in Temecula and this will be my 6th year teaching at TVCS. This year promises to be epic!
On a personal note, my husband and I (both San Fernando Valley natives) have been married for 37 years and have two grown children; a son in the US Air Force and a daughter who is a Speech Language Pathology Assistant and in Grad School to become a full SLP. When I'm not teaching school, I enjoy sports, fitness, reading and travel. You'll also find me digging in my garden and playing frisbee with our two adorable puppies Tessa and Luke!
