good afternoon good afternoon thanks for coming today we have a small group today probably I keep putting in the emails that we don't have a whole ton to share so thank you for coming but you're not a whole lot of news it was not on my end things to share and they'll both be posted in Google class as well as emailed the first is next on our science labs or our opportunity is Mondays and as tricky as that is because technically that is a majority of an asynchronous day if the say that we can connect with miss Lynn on a regular basis they don't have to share it with anybody or be every other week so I've been telling the kids this week we started this past Monday and I think it worked well I had we had a really good turnout the kids seem to enjoy it you know a good break in their day anyway so Mondays the other piece of that is that we're going to try and do them at the same time this plan is working from home right now as well so a little bit less access to doubling her science materials so I think doing them at 12:30 with everybody the kids were really excited at the thought of being in class together it'll be first opportunity that don't have to kind of all see each other so 12:30 on Mondays again I'll send out a reminder and you know luckily this next Monday we had I have winter stem lab planned it'll be materials from around the house meant to be fun I think they're all going to be so excited to potentially e58 kids together for the first time that we'll see how are we getting bad and then next Friday or is technically a minimum day which means class school is out at 11:45 I'm hoping and I'll send him lots of reminders I'm hoping the kid Hunter class in their Christmas jammies or just pajamas and general they can wear a Santa hat they can wear antlers you know they can paint their nose red like Rudolph just wanna have some holiday fun I'm also hoping it I will treat the kids to eyeglass cup of hot cocoa or doing a fun activity that has to do with hot chocolate so if we were together we'd be sipping hot chocolate together since we can't I'm hoping maybe parents will treat mug of hot chocolate in the morning during Ela and will come to class and our jammies and do a fun Christmas activity before we send them off to the holiday break those are my two super big exciting announcements Janice more than my super big announcements I am from the house we're just going to continue to wrap up the semester will review some of the things we did earlier in the school year so I can normally there would be a cumulative test when not doing that this year it's just they're doing problem solving working together in groups homework you probably noticed a little more limited they have to video notes if it take a week and XtraMath and ask them for me for math social studies at the end of the week we're still going to go through in and do it week week 18. Pagano be kind of trim down to know that everyone's so we're going to keep it nice and easy we sadly finished our novel study today my favorite part about it is when the kids all grown that it's over I agree I absolutely adore this book I'll be posting on Google Classroom tomorrow it is if you read the book it all along with the kids or they've talked about it 12 is a big day in Chasing Vermeer and that happens to be tomorrow so it doesn't happen often but I love it when our book coincides with feltwell hosting a big happy birthday announcement to art I just can't seem to put this book down even when it's over but we will be starting next semester next week we have all really creative fun activities I have an escape room plan to solve buddy filled Adventures still be focusing on reading and writing of course but just wrapping the semester up in a fun way and then when we get back from break we'll be working through regular if you will curriculum and pick up another novel again I dare not give a date because the hope is that we started if and when we go back to school if not the latest will start it probably is February answer math and social studies in January were just going to pick back up will go back to the workbooks will start module 4 which is more work with fractions went to look at multiplying and dividing them with social stat start moving into the Revolutionary War and that kind of thing for a lot of students use that I'm putting this thing I do so hopefully they do exactly for the next week finishing up wrapping up revealing I'm particularly new on this end be as a reminder for some extra I think really enjoyed getting to know the kids on a personal level on Thursdays at lunch the kids and I are doing directed cause I encourage the come and eat this week we learned how to draw the Grinch and they were adorable we've done everything from Huntingburg to fall seed I really encourage the kids to come eat I've we have I have some, they don't even pick up their pencil which is fine they come in for the social part of it you know they tell corny jokes I had all their music last time I really encourage them I know it's extra computer time which is an idea that it's extra computer time doing something fun with microphones on and you know a little bit of a social hour that and I know mr. laundry on Monday is playing among us so I strongly encourage the kids I'm tutor I know I'm not one to but I really encourage you to encourage the kids to get these social activities you know I think that they're they're finding some some Bonds are there laughing and you know obviously there's some of that part missing in our regular school day a little bit less than we'd like so we have two new students in 5A they really enjoyed getting to know friend so just encourage the kids to join these extra exactly I'll be doing mine on Monday at 11 thank you mrs. Fisher for the reminder and also there would extra remind me I did promised there would be some math extra credit I'll have more information for the kids on that on that's coming to thank you for the reminder sorry since I'm still working on that would be something out of the ordinary but I know the last test was not feeling good brother. Okay Hangouts that questions or concerns question we can hear you okay sorry my phone was cutting out so that when you guys talk it is every week every Monday yeah the lab okay if they can't make it what Bill need an answer nation that they need will be posted yes so materials anything that they'll need will be posted and available for them to do as long as they are of a present at the Moore Monday meeting they get their attendance for the day okay and then is there going to be exit tickets after that there's always X exit tickets on Monday Wednesday and Friday the information that will be from the what they're doing a super together since the lab meant to be an extension of whatever Unit were talking about they could get the money from thing I post this last Monday I couldn't post the video without giving away what happens and they want it I need it on it see what happens but for the most part if for some reason they can't join class or the lab will be able to successfully answer the exit ticket without it okay is there a possibility to have the items that they need posted sooner though like Matthew couldn't participate because we didn't have the things that were asked for a lot so okay I do lie on Friday all they needed was a bowl they needed a bowl and a cup and some water and then dirt and grass if they have I was hoping that was Monday we have a California yard we don't have grass or dirt participate with that was so okay. ideally it was the water cycle so even without mud operates and then condenses gets heavy and then falls back down into the cup so video will show them what they need in case it's something that they do have this one surely they they will have everything they need I can post the materials earlier okay perfect thank you the nearest questions thank you for being here this afternoon we probably will not I haven't talked to you but I'm guessing you probably will not see one of these next week but will start back up again so if you have any questions in the meantime just please again let us know you know us in the message what are the question that I had from the kids that parents may have also Chasing Vermeer this is the last year that I was make me smoke last they are on their last legs and so if the kids want to keep them then they're welcome to they won't need to return them when we get back together the next material pick up if they're focusing. and they would like to return them they're welcome to I'll have a box and I'll I'll go through any that are are still have still put together they've been well-loved and I've made them last five years so kindly ask for a new set for next year and that's about it I think that's all we have for you today so we'll post a copy of this video in case you want to go back over anything and as always we're here questions if you haven't but last call any questions concerns thank you for all your support for being here thanks for support have a great weekend happy weekend
