TVCS Certifies Elementary Teachers in Science of Reading!
TVCS elementary teachers have all been certified in the Science of Reading. This certification provides intensive training to teachers in an explicit, systematic and multisensory approach to teaching phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing, It incorporates the Orton-Gillingham approach using visual, auditory, and tactile components of the lesson plan.
