Superintendent's Message
Dear TVCS Families,
As we prepare to open the doors for the 2026–2027 school year, it is with tremendous excitement and gratitude that I welcome you and your students back to Temecula Valley Charter School. Whether your family is returning or joining us for the first time, we are thrilled to embark on another year of learning, growth, and community together.
This promises to be a uniquely dynamic and challenging year. While we continue full operations on our current campus, construction on our long-awaited new campus will be in full swing. We appreciate your patience and partnership as we navigate the realities of simultaneous construction and instruction. Our dedicated team is working diligently to minimize disruptions while ensuring the safety and success of every student. We will keep you informed through regular updates, and we welcome your feedback as we move forward together.
Despite these challenges, we are incredibly enthusiastic about the many exciting and innovative opportunities that await our students. This year we will deepen our commitment to academic rigor while embracing fresh approaches to teaching and learning. From expanded performing arts and enrichment programs to enhanced STEM initiatives and personalized learning pathways, our focus remains on preparing students not only for academic excellence but for lives of purpose and contribution.
At the heart of everything we do is our whole-child philosophy. We believe that strong academics thrive when paired with social-emotional learning, physical wellness, character development, and a strong sense of belonging. Our students will continue to benefit from a nurturing environment where every child is known, valued, and supported.
We could not achieve these goals without you—our incredible families. Your involvement, investment, and partnership remain the cornerstone of our success. Whether through volunteering, attending school events, providing input on the LCAP, or simply reinforcing learning at home, your engagement makes all the difference.
Thank you for entrusting us with your children’s education. We look forward to a year filled with growth, resilience, joy, and remarkable accomplishments. Here’s to an outstanding 2026–2027 school year!
Warm regards,
Dr. Charity Plaxton-Hennings
