Temecula Valley Charter School has been recognized by the California Department of Education as a 2026 California Purple Star School, an honor that highlights schools committed to supporting military-connected students and their families. The designation recognizes schools that provide meaningful transition support, accessible resources, and a welcoming environment for students whose families serve our country.
In the February 27, 2026 announcement, State Superintendent Tony Thurmond shared that 75 schools were awarded the designation this year, bringing the statewide total to 202 Purple Star Schools. TVCS was included among the Riverside County schools named in the release.
This recognition reflects TVCS’s continued commitment to serving students with care, excellence, and community-centered support.
This recognition comes at an exciting time for the TVCS community as the school prepares for its new permanent campus.
