New Campus Construction Update – Summer 2026

Dear Temecula Valley Charter School Families and Community Members,

We are excited to share another positive update on the progress of our new campus. The project continues to move forward steadily, and we remain on track for a targeted completion in Spring 2027 (approximately May).

Major grading work is now nearing completion, and the construction team is beginning work on the building pad. This is a significant milestone that brings us visibly closer to the start of vertical construction. Throughout the summer, Dr. Charity Plaxton-Hennings, our Superintendent, continues to participate in multiple construction and design meetings each week. This ongoing, hands-on involvement helps ensure the school is providing every possible support to keep the project advancing smoothly and on schedule.

As with any large-scale construction project, we have encountered a few unexpected challenges. Recently, unanticipated groundwater required some re-engineering of the site plans. Thanks to proactive collaboration with our engineering partners, we were able to address these issues effectively with updated designs. We are pleased to report that these adjustments have been managed successfully, and the project remains largely on time.

Looking ahead, the team has also been actively discussing the potential for a very wet winter due to El Niño conditions. To mitigate any weather-related risks, we are working ahead wherever possible to maintain momentum through the upcoming season.

We remain deeply grateful for your continued patience, support, and enthusiasm as we build this long-awaited home for our school community. This new campus will provide exceptional learning environments for our students for generations to come. We will continue to provide regular updates as the project progresses.

If you have any questions in the meantime, please feel free to reach out to our school office.

Thank you for being such an important part of the TVCS family!
